This policy explains the 75% ACH no-claim member benefit, cycle calculation, claim impact, cancellation scenarios, and review limits.
Last updated: May 18, 2026
75% No-Claim ACH Member Benefit
- When a driver completes an eligible 12-month cycle without submitting or claiming any covered ticket/citation during that cycle, DMV Protect returns 75% of the amount paid for that cycle through the driver's ACH payment method.
- The amount is calculated from the actual amount paid during the applicable 12-month cycle, not from a generic plan price unless that was the actual amount paid.
- Each 12-month cycle is evaluated separately and a prior cycle result does not automatically determine a later cycle result.
No Claim + Cancel or Close
- If the driver cancels or closes the account during or at the end of a 12-month cycle and did not submit or claim any covered ticket/citation during that cycle, DMV Protect returns 75% of the amount paid during that cycle through ACH.
- No reactivation fee applies by default when the driver never submitted or claimed any covered ticket/citation.
- Account closure or cancellation does not remove DMV Protect's responsibility to complete eligible no-claim ACH member benefit processing for that cycle.
No Claim + Account Stays Active
- If the driver completes a full 12-month cycle, keeps the account active, and did not submit or claim any covered ticket/citation during that completed cycle, DMV Protect returns 75% of the amount paid during that completed cycle through ACH.
- The driver may continue into the next 12-month cycle as an active subscriber.
- The next cycle is evaluated separately based on the next cycle's payments and claim activity.
Claim Submitted During Cycle
- If the driver submits or claims any covered ticket/citation during the applicable 12-month cycle, the 75% no-claim ACH member benefit does not apply by default for that cycle.
- If the driver later cancels or closes the account after submitting or claiming a covered ticket/citation, DMV Protect is not responsible for continuing ticket/citation support after cancellation or closure unless reactivation or new service approval applies.
- Future service after cancellation may require reactivation review and applicable reactivation fee rules.
ACH Delivery and Pending Status
- Eligible no-claim ACH member benefit payments must be delivered through the driver's ACH payment method.
- If ACH information is missing, invalid, closed, rejected, or failed, the benefit may remain pending until the driver updates ACH details.
- DMV Protect may notify the driver when updated ACH information is needed to complete benefit delivery.
Review and Disputes
- Member benefit questions or disputes may require review by DMV Protect.
- DMV Protect may request supporting information before resolving a benefit question.
- Alex cannot approve, deny, or change member benefit outcomes; Alex may explain policy and guide users to the proper request or review workflow.
