This disclaimer explains DMV Protect public paid-lawyer search, unsupported-ticket referrals, direct contact boundaries, and no-endorsement limitations.

Public Paid-Lawyer Search Purpose
- DMV Protect may provide public paid-lawyer search so users can discover lawyers who maintain a paid lawyer listing or approved public profile.
- Public paid-lawyer search may be shown to public visitors, drivers, expired users, cancelled users, or users with unsupported tickets/citations.
- Paid lawyers are listed for public discovery and direct contact; they are not automatically assigned to DMV Protect covered ticket/citation cases.
Unsupported Ticket Routing
- When a ticket/citation is unsupported under DMV Protect covered policy, the user may be guided to public paid-lawyer search as an alternative discovery path.
- This routing does not mean DMV Protect accepts, manages, coordinates, or covers the unsupported ticket/citation as a DMV Protect claim.
- The user is responsible for deciding whether to contact, evaluate, or hire a lawyer found through public search.
No Endorsement or Guarantee
- A lawyer appearing in public search is not a guarantee of quality, suitability, availability, pricing, communication speed, case result, or legal outcome.
- DMV Protect does not guarantee that a lawyer will accept a matter or that the lawyer's services will meet the user's expectations.
- Search order, visibility, profile content, or listing status should not be treated as legal advice or a ranking guarantee unless a specific approved policy says otherwise.
Direct Lawyer Relationship
- If a user contacts a paid lawyer through public search, any legal relationship, fee agreement, consultation, or representation is between the user and that lawyer, not DMV Protect.
- Users should review the lawyer's license, experience, location, terms, fees, and engagement agreement before relying on legal services.
- DMV Protect is not responsible for independent legal advice provided by a lawyer contacted through public search.
Paid Lawyer Listing Boundary
- Paid Lawyer Listing allows public profile/listing participation according to DMV Protect policy and subscription status.
- Paid Lawyer Listing does not automatically authorize access to private driver records, driver service feedback, or DMV Protect assigned-case workflows.
- Assigned lawyers for DMV Protect covered matters use separate approved case workflows and are not created automatically by public paid-lawyer search listing status.
Legal Advice Boundary
- DMV Protect and Alex do not provide legal advice through lawyer search pages.
- Users should contact a qualified lawyer for legal advice, legal strategy, court representation, or case-specific judgment.
- DMV Protect does not guarantee that public lawyer-search information is complete, current, or suitable for a particular case.
